Sigh. It's a fine bank holiday Monday, and how am I spending it? Pretty much the same as I spend most Mondays, given my lack of employment. I'm sitting around reading comics, doing the occasional bit of writing and masturbating over Fox News presenters.

Today, just to get some variety, I've trawled around comic message boards to see what's popular at the moment. It's no secret that I want to make writing my full time career (Even though it technically is now, since my only income is from writing comics), so I thought I'd do this as research.

I really wish I hadn't. It's so hard to find anywhere with decent coversation about comics anymore. I hate places where fan boys run around waving their digital penises yelling 'Behold! My lust for Supergirl is greater!', but I actually prefer those to the activist sites.

I'm really tired of hearing about how comics need 'defending' or how people are Taking It To The Street With Unnecessary Capitalisation and the like. Comics are doing fine without people trying to force the latest photocopied mini comic made by the tribesmen of Venezuela into their hands.

To be honest, I just want to know what's good, and what's popular at the moment. I don't want to go to sites which feel like Ineed to know a secret hand shake just to know what's going on.

This has been a long and pointless rant. I therefore give you porn and leave you all to ignore me.

I am off to set fire to squirrels and drink my own body weight in beer. Or something like that, anyway. I'll probably just wind up feeding the squirrels in an effort to raise a squirrel army to overthrow Deptford.

All of which reminds me: Why do Americans have so mu difficulty saying 'squirrel'? Or 'mirror', for that matter.

I have an interview on Thursday. It's for a job handling bottles of piss, so you'd hope I'd be able to get it...
