May. 18th, 2005 11:43 amFor some inexplicable reason everybody seems to want to talk to me in Portuguese today...
Bad things today: Lack of ID, lost interviews and rejected graphic novels.Bah.
Good things: Artists falling over themselves to talk to me. You wait forever for one, etc...
Internet things that annoy me today: People who type '...just my $.02' at the end of comments. FUCK OFF. Also,
metaquotes. Granted, there are some amusing quotes, but it's generally people saying 'Oooh, look, my friends are SOOO funny. I'm so cool because of them.' Bloody internet back slapping wank.
Yes, I know I don't have to read the metaquotes thing, but I normally see it over Jen's shoulder. It annoys me for some reason.
Rant over. Back to job hunting and attempting to write for money. It's about I actually stopped talking about writing for living and actually, you know, did something about it. I feel my lack of paying work may reflect the lack of submissions of late...
Straw poll: If offered paying work writing yaoi, should I take it. (I ask as there's a possibility of it in the air at the moment. And if you don't know what yaoi is, look it up. I can't be arsed to explain it to you.)
While I think of it, why are there so many ungodly talented Brazilian artists around? Is the lack of an ozone layer turning them into a group chiseled bodied mutant art gods?
I apologise for subjecting you to these ramblings. I shall return to be ill and complaining about the injustices of the world anon.
